Fascinated by geometric shapes since a young age, I began to express myself through drawing, then dancing, which I had practiced for years without finding the path in which I wanted to fully express myself. My initial desire was to develop a unique and innovative project that could resonate in a simple way with each of us. The choreographic movement “Variable Geometry” was born in 2017, inspired by different dance styles such as popping, toyman and tutting, hip hop dances born in the 70s on the American west coasts and which rely on lines of the human body. One morning, my gaze was caught by a flock of birds, and this image was so powerful, visual, and inspiring.... the “Murmuration” concept was born. I felt an absolute necessity to transform the concept “Murmuration” in one show. This seemed obvious to me. I strongly believe in the power of collective unity. More than a show, it is an experience that I wish to bring to life on stage. The creative process requires rigor and precise practise of this discipline. It allows us, each time, to achieve a spectacular result. “Murmuration” encourages you to deepen your self-knowledge. I like to believe that “Murmuration” is an antidote. An antidote that promotes (re)connection between each being. Even if we are all very different in appearance, deep down we all aspire to the same thing, don’t you think? My dearest wish is that “Murmuration” continues to resonate around the world for a long time.
Sadeck Berrabah
A perfectionist of movement and an artist with multiple hats: dancer, choreographer, designer, Sadeck Berrabah brings a new vision on dance in relation to the geometry of the body. He was passionate about drawing and dancing from a very young age. A fan of Michael Jackson, he dances everywhere, all the time, at home, in the street. From battle to battle; he made a name for himself in the dance world, and at the same time took up a career as a mason. Founder, choreographer and dancer within the “Variable Geometry” group founded in 2017, Sadeck has stood out for his creativity and ingenuity. An atypical career path, and a meteoric rise witch allowed him to collaborate with numerous artists and creators. From mason to professional dancer, he has managed to make a place form himself internationally. Passionate about the stage and video aspects, he poetically handles the art of movement and reflection. His limitless imagination takes shape through projects that depend on his passions for drawing, dance and logic. Today, with this unique and recognizable signature, Sadeck Berrabah intervenes and collaborates with international artists, brands and major institutions throughout the world.
